Brick shaped beads from the Czech Republic, no sharp edges.  Earring length is 1" woven.  French wires made from surgical steel, making for a light earring with no sensitivity issues.  The earrings come in two styles:  solid brick beads and a ladder with accents beads between the brick beads.
